Squareroot prime gap conjecture

Statement

This states that for any prime $p$ and successive prime $q$, the prime gap is less than ${\sqrt {p}}$. In other words:

$p<q<p+{\sqrt {p}}$.

This implies the prime-between-squares conjecture, which in turn implies that the prime gap is at most $2{\sqrt {p}}$.
